However, users should be enrolled in Apples developer Program costing $99 annually to download and use this update. Alternatively, users can get this update through their Public Beta Program with some slight delays. Now, let us discuss some of the exiting new features in iOS 15.4 for our iPhones and iPad’s.
iOS 15.4 Cool New Features:
-
Universal Control
Apple’s Universal Control feature lets users drag and drop files between various Apple devices like Macs, iPad’s, iPhones effortlessly. Here, the feature was supposed to launch last fall but was delayed until spring 2022 due to various reasons.
Finally, iOS 15.4 will provide users the option to unlock their devices through Face ID with their masks on. This is a handy method of unlocking our devices without taking our masks off in public and it reduces the spreads of the disease as well. Although Apple did provide users the option to unlock their devices through their Apple Watch, this feature was meaningless for those who didn’t own one. As they say, Better Late than Never.

ProMotion Support For Third Party Apps
ProMotion was one of the headlining features in the iPhone 13 lineup but its support was quite limited to the native apps. Now, the bug is fixed in iOS 15.4 and supported third party apps can get up to 120Hz smooth animations.
